True Believers

“It’s a lot easier to convince people to die for your cause if you first make them eager to die…It’s a lot easier to get boys to bare their breast to arrows and swords if they have faith that doing so is a selfless act that will make the Creator smile and welcome them into the eternal glory in the afterworld”

"Once the order teaches people to be true believes, what they have really done is to forge monster who will not only die for the cause, but kill for it as well…These are killers who will only too happily kill for the cause, absolutely secure in the knowledge they are doing the right and the moral thing”

The above quote is taking from Terry Goodkind’s newest novel Phantom. Of course this can be rewritten to read:

It’s a lot easier to convince people to blow themselves up for your cause if you first make them eager to die…It’s easier to get boys to bare their breast to bullets and bombs if they have faith that doing so is a selfless act that will make Allah smile and welcome them into the internal glory of Paradise were they can rape 72 virgins to their hearts content.

Once the mullahs and other religious leaders convince its people to be true believers, what they have done is forge a monster who will not only willingly blow themselves up for the cause, but do so willingly to take out as many Jews and infidels as possible. Knowing as they die that they Allah will reward them greatly for taking out as many infidels as possible because it was the just and right thing to do.

I will have more quotes to come.

The Seeker of Truth

I will currently not be posting probably for this week as well, but not because of brain fry, but rather of brain recharging procedures. This comes in many forms, but the best voltage and proper AC/DC current, I have found to charge my brain is with reading and the proper current is the Sword of Truth. Terry Goodkind, as many will know, is my favorite author and is my mentor. Last month his latest novel, Phantom, was released and I was unable to acquire a copy until the weekend. Normally, in the past, when getting a new Goodkind book, I would read it in one sitting. Yet, having the duties of work and the other matters I currently pursue in my life I can longer do this. Thus, I will be busy reading the book and hopefully have it finished by the weekend.

As far as the blogs go, next week will be review extravaganza, as I will have reviews for Phantom by Terry Goodkind, Concert Electric Guitar by Music Mastermind Christopher Schlegel, and my review of the X-Fi Xtreme Music/Gamer Edtion sound card by Creative Labs and the ambiguities and lack of specifics about its products.

So much to look forward next week and in the coming weeks, as I plan to start doing many more articles on all the blogs weekly as well as begin the online serial. So much to look forward to in realm of the written word.

Brain’s Fried

I will be taking a small break from posting during this week. After working 8 hours a day in a very hot warehouse my brain is pretty much cooked whence I get home. Thus, it is overly difficult to get the proper brain voltage going in order to jump start my writing ability. Basically, I am just downright tired and exhausted by the end of the day to attempt to write currently. Never worry as I am always thinking throughout the day about my articles and writing, working in a position that doesn’t force me to use my full brain power and be in total focus allows for me to pretty much think about other matters while still being able to do my work. Thus, just wanted to let my readers know why there is a lack of posts. I will be making up for this during the week end. Though, the purchase of the new Terry Goodkind book on Saturday will probably forestall writing endeavors even then, as I usually sit down and read a new Goodkind Book in one sitting. We shall see what the week brings though. So Stay tuned and please keep up the clicking of my ads.
